Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar/Economically Weaker Section Anudan Yojna 
The Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Anudan Yojna  a Socio- Economic Assistance Scheme of the State Govt. for financial aid to the destitute of very poor persons of the society to increase their financial income to some extent.The Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Anudan Yojna is revised from 1st April, 2001 and now named as Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Economically weaker  Section Yojna. 

Eligibility Criteria :

 e) Widows below 60 years  with two or more minor children Rs.  625/-  per month subject to the condition that she is not remarried & till her minors attain age of 18 years   - Rs. 625/-
 f) Females below 60 years & Males below 65 years who are suffering from Leprosy & Aids or other type of sickness/Mental disability and there by unable to Service / Maintain their livelihood.    Rs. 250/ per month  Rs. 250/-

How to apply
 

Required Documents

1)  Age Proof of the applicant and family members ( School  leaving certificate or extract from birth register of Local Authority  or certificate from Govt./Municipal M.O. indicating age of the person).

2)  Ration Card

3) The applicant do not have any major children and is really a destitute.

4) Certificate from Municipal Councilor or MLA concerned stating that the beneficiary is residing in Maharashtra State for 15 years.

5) The certificate from Govt. Medical Officers/Municipal M.Os stating that the  applicant in category (f) is suffering from particular disease.

6) Applicants of category (c),(d) and (e) may furnish documents mentioned above except (5) . Death certificate from BMC or concerned authority in r/o deceased  husband need to be furnished.

Sanjay Gandhi Swavlamban Yojna

This Yojna is to provide financial help unemployed educated or non-educated  persons for starting self employment.

Eligibility Criteria 
Unemployed educated or non-educated  persons below 40 years who have registered     
nemployed educated or non-educated  persons below 40 years who have registered  their name with Employment Exchange.

Scheme Benefits 

A short term interest free loan upto Rs 2500/- for purpose of starting self employment like Tea stall, Carpentary, Sale of Vegetables/Fruits, Selling Clothes etc.

How to apply
 

Beneficiaries may submit his application in the prescribed form along with the copies of following documents attested by S.E.O.S in person in the office of the Tahsildar (SGY) concerned .  The applications are acknowledged if they are found prima-facie fit for acceptance.

The recommendation  from MLA/MP/Municipal Councilor .

2) Certificate from Municipal Councilor or  MLA concerned stating that the beneficiary is residing in Maharashtra State for 15 years.

National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP)

The National Social Assistance Programme (N.S.A.P) which came into force w.e.f. 15th August 
1995 is a fully funded centrally sponsered programme. This Programme has three Components Viz.

Ø      Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS)

Ø      National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS)

Ø      National Maternity Benefit  Scheme (NMBS)

 

For this Central Govt. scheme, Grants are received from Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, in the name of  Collector & Chairman District Level Committee, Mumbai Suburban District. The sanctioning authority is  Tahsildar(Sanjay Gandhi Yojna) of the concerned Taluka.

NMBS

Pregnant Women belonging

 1.     women is below poverty line.

2.   her name in registeres in A.N.C.    Register kept in the Govt.Hospital/  Municipal hospital.

        3.  Her pregnancy  is upto first two live       births.
4.    Her application need to be received  through the Govt. Medical Officer/       M.O. in Municipal Dispensaries .
