Mahakali Caves
These caves have been carved in a small hill at a distance of 6 kms from the andheri railway station on the western railway.The sanctuary must have been a major religious centre during the Buddha period.The cave comprises of 19 viharas. A sculpture of shivalangam has ben installed by shiva followers later on.
